Ewe’s work explores the point at which an image begins to lose its certainty. Working through painting and collage, she builds and disrupts compositions, allowing figures, fragments and gestures to emerge, collide and disappear.
Her practice searches for just enough structure to hold an image together, while keeping it always on the edge of collapse.
